Your First Session: A Complete Walkthrough

Start a live session, log every climb as you go, and finish with a full summary of your day at the wall — on your phone or Apple Watch.

Step by Step

Tap "Start Session"
From the home screen, tap the Start Session button. This starts a live timer and puts the app into active session mode.

Phone or Apple Watch?
If you have an Apple Watch paired, you can start and control the session from your wrist — your phone stays in your bag. No watch? No problem. The phone handles everything on its own.

Log a Climb
After each climb, tap Log Climb. Pick the climb type (Lead, Boulder, or Top Rope), choose your grade, then mark it as a Send or an Attempt. If you fell, enter your fall count before saving.

Keep Climbing
Repeat for every climb. The session screen shows a running count of your climbs, sends, and time on the wall. You can log as many or as few as you want.

End the Session
When you're done, tap End Session. You'll be prompted to add a location — search for your gym or crag, or skip it for now. You can always add it later from the session detail view.

Review Your Summary
The session summary shows total climbs, sends, time, and your hardest send of the day. This session is now saved to your history and factored into your stats.
